Book Fair Coming Soon Come join us for this year's Arctic Themed Book Fair from November 4-8th. We will be having a Sneak Peak on Friday, November 1st from 3-5 PM with an Ice Cream Social. We are offering something fun each day and hope to have all of the families participate. We are very excited to announce our first ever Mountain Oaks Family Reading Night. All students are asked to bring a book to donate to the book swap. We will have crafts: decorate your own book bag, make a bookmark, paper snowflakes, and paper plate animals. There will also be several activities to participate in for the students with chances to win scholastic books. There will be a paper snowball fight where students write their name and a book they would like to win on a piece of paper; crumple up the paper; and then they will get to throw them at the administrator. Whichever snowballs are chosen by the administrator will be the lucky winners and receive the book they requested. College and Career Fair at Calaveras High The College and Career Fair at Calaveras High will be this Wednesday, November 6th from 10-11 AM. Sisene will take students over to Calaveras High School. Meet at the San Andreas site by 9:45 AM. Sign up and see Sisene for more info. Seniors have first choice, but she will also take Juniors. Representatives include Modesto Junior College Vet Tech program, UC Merced, UC Davis, Sonora Cosmetology, US Army/Marines, Mark Twain Medical Center/Physical Therapy Assistant, Hospice, plus various construction, electrical, aviation, solar, water, forestry employers, etc. You MUST sign up and have a field trip permission slip from parents back to Sisene by late Tuesday afternoon.
