Eighth Grade Graduation Proficiencies - Gr. 6-8
The Proficiencies are arranged through the Mentor Teacher. Workshops to assist students in these subject areas may be held at various sites. These exams are taken in a testing environment with your mentor teacher or teacher designee. They are not “take home” exams. The student can get help with the Science Project from their mentor teacher, the librarians or by attending a workshop if available, or getting help online. Students in grades six and seven can begin working on these competencies.
Eighth graders at Mountain Oaks must pass Proficiencies in:
1. Math
2. Writing
4. Complete a Science Project
