The Writing Competency class for 7th - 9th graders will start Wednesday, February 20th from 9: 00 to 10:15 AM in Canyon Oak.

The school will be closed on Friday, February 15 and Monday, February 18 for the Presidents' Birthday Holidays.

The Sutter's Fort Field Trip has been cancelled due to not enough sign-ups.

The Finance Committee is cancelled on Thursday, February 14 due to weather.

Mr. Kenney's classes are resuming as normal on Monday, February 11, 2019. His math classes will not be meeting on Wednesday or Thursday, February 6 and 7, 2019.

SA's Science Fair Winners are: 1st Place Julie Krause, 8th grade, for "Cool Down"; 2nd Place Arianna Lopez, 8th grade, for "Marco Polo": 3rd Place Elijah and Andrew Converse, 8th and 7th grade, for "Juiciest Apple". And our Grand Champion/Honorable Mention goes to 1st grader Emmaline Turnbeaugh, for "Straw Impact on Ocean Life/Solutions".

Mt. Oaks Science Fair Friday, February 8th, San Andreas gym. All students who have submitted entries must be at school at 9:00 AM for set-up. Judging will start at 10:00 AM.

Projects will be judged individually. Each entry and student will be judged at a specific time between 10:00 AM and 11:45 AM. In order to be considered for CCOE Science Fair, students must meet their judges at their project at the specified time.

Projects will be open to display at 12 noon. Winners will be announced by 12:30 PM fair day. If you have any questions, call Claire Coykendall at 754-0532 ext. 2230.

K-3 Spanish is cancelled on February 6, 2019.

Due to the snow, all workshops in San Andreas, Sonora and Ione have been cancelled for Tuesday, February 5, 2019. If you have a mentor teacher meeting, please contact your teacher to see if your meeting has been cancelled or not. Because we are an independent study program, it is still a school day and educational activities should continue at home.
