We are asking all our parents to complete the Annual Survey. This information gives us good insight into what our families are wanting and needing. Therefore, it will help to ensure you have the best homeschooling experience we can offer. We will gather the data from the surveys and present it at the Annual Retreat. This information will then be used at the Retreat for discussing the needs of our families and students and making plans for Mountain Oaks' future. Our next virtual field trip is coming up very soon! It will be this coming Monday, January 17, 2022 at 10:00am.

We are headed to Van Damme State Park and Beach up near Mendocino on the Northern California coastline.

(Although this day is a school holiday for Martin Luther King Jr., we are still having PORTS because this is the only date that was available for us to visit Van Damme.)

Van Damme State Beach is beautiful. We will join a ranger from the park to learn about Marine Protected Areas and Kelp Forests along our California coastline. Please come join us for our 28th Annual Retreat. This is the one time each year where we get together from all 3 sites to talk about the vision and future of Mountain Oaks. Our families are the driving force of everything we do at Mountain Oaks and we need your input. Please plan on attending the retreat on January 28, 2022 from 9-3:30 either virtually or in the gym at the Mountain Oaks San Andreas site. Continental breakfast and a pizza lunch will be provided for those who come to the in-person meeting. We will be not be offering childcare this year.
