California History Day 2022 - Calling all 3-5th Graders! Come join us on September 15, 2022 to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of this event! Please note that this is not open to kids outside the 3-5th grade range as it is a county-wide event organized with other schools. If you want your 3-5th grade student to go, but can't leave your younger children, we will be taking a van to Moke Hill. You can send your 3-5th grade student on the van. 2021-2022 Yearbook We have finished the 2021-2022 Yearbook and would like families to look it over before we submit it on Friday, September 9th for publication. If you find any errors, misspelled student's name, typos, etc., please email Samantha at [email protected]. Let me know what page the error is on and what the error is. The preview is always blurry compared to what the actual yearbook will look like. This is not a good representation of the quality of the yearbook. It is used to check for errors. Families can still place a 2021-2022 yearbook order online until 9/9/22 at 4 PM. We do not order extra yearbooks and will not be able to order anymore once the order is placed on Friday. Dinner with a Scientist Dinner with a Scientist gives 4th-12th grade students from Calaveras and Amador County schools a unique opportunity to enjoy dinner and an evening with local scientists in a professional environment. Scientists ranging from geologists to veterinarians, biologists, educators, engineers, and more, volunteer to spend an evening discussing their field of expertise. Teachers attend the event with a team of 2 to 4 students and enjoy a three-course meal where students ask questions and scientists share their enthusiasm and advice about careers in technology, engineering, math, and science. If you are interested in attending, get a Student Participation Form from your mentor teacher. The last day to sign up is September 9 by noon. Posted 8/22/22
