PORTS Workshop We need to postpone our upcoming Calaveras Big Trees in-person visit, which was scheduled on October 20, 2023. As we have been talking about, there is going to be a prescribed burn that will be taking place next week and the North Grove Trail will be closed. We will reschedule this trip for the spring and will keep you posted. In the meantime, we will see if we can get a virtual field trip scheduled for October 20 to a different State Park. Please check our Google Classroom and your email for more information on this. Also, our next scheduled virtual field trip will be on October 30, 2023, at 10:15 a.m. to Torrey Pines State Beach to learn about the great white sharks that live there. Posted 10/15/23

Senior Graduation Meeting The Senior Graduation Meeting is on Monday, November 13th at 9 AM at the San Andreas site. We will be designing the senior shirt for seniors to order. We will review the graduation ceremony and discuss scholarship applications. Immediately following the meeting, we will have a Scholarship Essay workshop so that seniors have help completing their essays. We will also help students do the Naviance Career survey to give them an idea of what jobs match their interests. Pizza will be provided for those attending the workshop.
