Garden Project

Saturday, October 7th, Mountain Oaks families came together to get some large projects done in our school garden, from building boxes, prepping planter boxes, and making a compost bin and stepping stones.

The project was planned out by the Mountain Oaks Green Team. It also included reaching out to many businesses in the community to get barrels from School Street and Newsome Harlow.

The best part, Dave Wilson Nursery provided fruit trees, grapes, and blueberries to plant. Dave Wilson's representative, Will Reid, even brought plenty of fresh stone fruits to munch on while we worked and helped with the projects on the school grounds.

We look forward to more days out in our garden!
