Academic Decathlon Team - California State Competition Results

This year's Academic Decathlon California State Competition, like all other events, has been extremely tough. Our persevering and strong team composed of students from all 3 sites was relentless in facing the extra hurdles of the evolving State Competition into an online independent format. The appropriate theme of 'Health and Wellness’ became our reality. Congratulations to our Honors Level of Alexa H., Team Captain, for our highest school score, Trillium W. and Emma D., Scholastic level of Veda D., Ben W. and Eden M., our Varsity level of Eva E. who won Golds in Art, Literature, Music, Social Science & a Bronze in Super Q & Andy (Anna) L. for a Gold in Essay!! Our comparatively tiny school scored in the top half of Division 3. Several of our students will be continuing and will compete in the online National Competition in May.
