Hi Everyone,
Welcome back to the Mountain Oaks PORTS Workshop! We have planned virtual field trips to California State Parks all over the state. Some of these include Ano Nuevo State Park to see the elephant seals, Angel Island, Redwood State and National Parks and of course Calaveras Big Trees and Columbia! We also have some fun in-person trips to Big Trees, Columbia and Indian Grinding Rock happening very soon.
On Monday, September 12, 2022 we are having informational meeting about our PORTS workshop. There we will have all the dates of the trips we have planned so far, take a peek at some of the activities we will be doing, answer questions, and talk about ideas that you may have for our workshop.
Please come to this workshop in Live Oak on Monday Sept. 12, 2022. There will be two times to attend:
10:00-11:00 am Kindergarten – 6th grade
11:00-12:00 pm 7th grade – 12th grade
Families with students in multiple grades, please feel free to come to either meeting time.
If you aren’t able to come in-person, please send me an email and I will send you a Google meets link, as we will have that option available.
Also, if you know families who have not yet signed up for PORTS, please tell them about these meetings. They are welcome to come and can turn in an “add slip” to join the workshop at the front office.
Lastly, always check our PORTS Google classroom as we will post communications there as well. Feel free to call or email questions, thoughts, or concerns, post them in our classroom, or give me a call. My extension at school is 2220.
