“I believe that children should be encouraged to learn in their own way without the pressures of too much “planned” regimentation, though I know that some structure and practice can help.  I also believe in tapping the new ideas of information technology for educational purposes and communicating with the world.
I love teenagers, though they sometimes drive me crazy, but I have survived 14 years of teenagers in my own family, so I think I have passed the test!”

30+ years teaching experience, many years of which were at a state-run teachers' training school in Switzerland:  http://www.mariaberg.ch/ I have been at Mt. Oaks since 2000.
My Experience includes teaching German, English (ESL), Computer Skills and Ski School at Bear Valley.

Interests:
information technology, skiing, hiking, international contacts
