  • Point Reyes Science Camp – Tuesday-Friday, October 14-17, 2014

Orientation will be at the San Andreas site, Thursday, October 9th from 12:30-1:30P

Come join our explorations of one of the most unique places on Earth.

We stay at the Clem Miller Educational Center at the Point Reyes National Seashore. The Center has a main lodge/dining room/kitchen/library facility and five bunkhouses that sleep up to 80 people.

Tidepooling, bird banding, night hikes, Tule Elk, historic sites, sand dunes, esteros, light house tours... are some of the activities we've offered over the years. Families arrive at 3:00P on Tuesday for Camp Orientation and are required to stay until the camp inspection is over or about 11:00am on Friday.

Sign ups are at the front desk at each school site. Students are expected to research a topic on Point Reyes and conduct a 2-3 minute oral presentation with visual support (pictures, demonstrations, power point, etc.) at science camp.

There is a deposit required to hold your space. There is a maximum of 80 people able to attend. Questions? call Jacqueline 888-686-6257 ext. 2227.

  • Viewing The New Website Issues
A couple problems have showed up on the new website.  Some people are having trouble viewing particularly the workshop charts and other similar uploaded documents. One thing that you can try is to view it in a different web browser. (Google, Internet Explorer, Firefox etc.)  We are working on this glitch, but don't have a perfect solution yet. If Mountain Oaks has been your default homepage, the new website will not usually come up properly until you go to the new website by typing it in ( and then resetting your homepage to the new address that pops up in the address bar. If you need help with other problems with the website you can call Jean at ext. 2226.
