How to Be a Qualified Adult

Qualified Adults need to have a TB test done and also be fingerprinted by CCOE.

  • For TB Testing: You will need to be tested by your physician or by the County Health Agency (1003 Broadway, Suite 203, Jackson, CA). From start to finish, this steps takes approximately a week to complete. The Amador Health Agency holds TB testing every 1st and 3rd Tuesday from 2p-6p and the 4th Tuesday from 9:00-11:30. (Call (209) 223-6407 to confirm.) The readings will be done on that following Friday from 8:00-8:30 am and 4:15-4:45 pm.

  • For Fingerprinting: You will need to call Melissa at CCOE (736-6000) to schedule fingerprinting. You will need to bring a copy of your TB results with you to CCOE. The physical address for CCOE is 185 S. Main Street, Angels Camp (next to Calaveras Lumber)

Responsibilities of a Qualified Adult are:

  • Be present during activity or workshop and until all students leave.
  • Not driving students without being a Qualified Driver (call Samantha, 754-0532, ext. 258, on how to become a Qualified Driver).
