How to Be a Qualified Adult
Qualified Adults need to have a TB test done and also be
fingerprinted by CCOE.
- For TB Testing: You will need to be tested by
your physician or by the County Health Agency (1003 Broadway, Suite 203,
Jackson, CA). From start to finish, this steps takes approximately a week to
complete. The Amador Health Agency holds TB testing every 1st and
3rd Tuesday from 2p-6p and the 4th Tuesday from
9:00-11:30. (Call (209) 223-6407 to confirm.) The readings will be done on
that following Friday from 8:00-8:30 am and 4:15-4:45 pm.
- For Fingerprinting: You will need to call
Melissa at CCOE (736-6000) to schedule fingerprinting. You will need to
bring a copy of your TB results with you to CCOE. The physical address for
CCOE is 185 S. Main Street, Angels Camp (next to Calaveras Lumber)
Responsibilities of a Qualified Adult are:
- Be present during activity or workshop and until all
students leave.
- Not driving students without being a Qualified Driver
