Informational Forum Information The first step for consideration for admission to Mt. Oaks School is to attend one of our Informational Forums which are normally scheduled for the first Friday of the month at 2:00 PM at the San Andreas site. Call 754-0532, ext 258, to sign up for an Info Forum. We greatly appreciate receiving RSVPs by the Wednesday prior to the forum date. The Informational Forum is an opportunity to explore home-schooling in general and Mountain Oaks in particular. We will outline our Mountain Oaks program and address your questions and concerns. The forum is also an excellent opportunity for you to network with other home- schooling families. We ask that you bring those students you are intending to enroll with you to the Informational Forum. If your child has an Individualized Education Plan (active or inactive) please bring a copy of their last IEP and plan to spend an extra 30 minutes with us after the forum. We have a slightly different admissions procedure for students with an IEP. Attending an Informational Forum is required before you can progress to our Waiting List. As time is a factor for our Waiting List, we suggest you attend the next scheduled Informational Forum. If you cannot attend the next forum, we recommend that you contact Samantha (754-0532, ext 258) at our office to ensure that your name remains on our Inquiry List. If you do not attend one of the forums listed for this semester and do not contact our office, we will remove your name from our list after 60 days. |
