Merlyn, Mt. Oaks College & Career Counselor, has a sign-up sheet in the hallways of all four of Mt. Oaks sites. Or you can call her for an appointment at 754-0532, ext. 270. She can help you with scholarship applications, college applications, career assessments, and much more. Graduating seniors -- don't be shy. Her office is the RV in the Calaveras parking lot, so drop by on Wednesday or Thursday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, or sign up in the Calaveras hallway to see her. Merlyn is at the Brown Academy in Ione on Tuesdays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. You can also make an appointment to see her at the Pine Grove site or Tuolumne site by calling 754-0532, ext. 270.

Career Locker

Career Locker helps you with career assessment, occupational information, education and training, and job hunting. Mt. Oaks has a subscription to this service. You can get the registration code from your mentor teacher, at the front desk of your site, or by e-mailing Pam. When you go to the home page of Career Locker, click on "get started" on the right side of the page. Put in the Mt. Oaks registration code, then create your own user name and password.
