As some of you know I have decided to retire this year.

The decision has been made easier by knowing that beginning in the 2024-2025 school year, Mountain Oaks will be in the caring and capable hands of our new Administrator.

The San Andreas Spring Photo Day has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 24th from 9:30-1pm.
We are not holding spots from the cancelled picture day, due to the fact that this is a different day, therefore students will have different schedules.

Graduation is right around the corner. The 8th Grade Graduation Ceremony will be held on Thursday, June 6th at 6 PM at the Mountain Oaks Gymnasium in San Andreas. Graduates need to be at the school by 4:00 PM on graduation day for photos and rehearsal. Graduates and their families should consider the significance of the event and dress accordingly. Therefore, graduates should not come in shorts or ripped jeans.

Families may purchase Graduation Photos. Photos will be taken by Amber Pappe Photography and will include an individual 5x7 photo of the graduate, 5x7 class photo and a 5x7 photo of them receiving their diploma. The cost is $30.00. Checks or Money Orders should be made payable to: Amber Pappe Photography.

We encourage each family to submit 1 baby photo of their 8th-grade graduate for the yearbook before May 31st. You may bring the photos into the front office to be scanned or you can email them to [email protected].

Last year, several of our students participated in a class that culminated in the launching of a high-altitude balloon. We are excited to report that our balloon is performing far beyond our expectations! It has been aloft for 167 days and has made 8 orbits around the earth. We are very grateful to Mr. Gracevich and his team for inviting Mountain Oaks students to participate in this interactive and fascinating educational experience. Speech Pathologist, 4 days per week serving the San Andreas, Sutter Creek and Sonora School sites
Special Education Aide, full-time position, primarily working at the San Andreas and Sutter Creek sites.
